<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power unit for interrupting power supply to an electric device that is not surely allowed to be used. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An outlet authentication processing managing part 35 does not output an authentication permission when the outlet authentication processing managing part 35 determines that any of a plurality of control parts 344 receives identification information by communicating with the control parts 344 of respective outlet units 34A to 34C, and outputs the authentication permission when it does not determine that any of the plurality of control parts 344 receives the identification information. The control part 344 performs off control of a relay 342 while the outlet authentication processing managing part 35 does not give the authentication permission, waits for the outlet authentication processing managing part to give the authentication permission, performs on control of the relay 342 and starts to receive identification information transmitted from an electric device 2 when a plug insertion detecting part 346 determines that the electric device 2 is connected.
