In this device, the frame has, facing a rounded edge (6) of the leaf B, an inclined surface (21), the distance of which from the frame A increases from the inside to the outside and which is connected to the internal surface of a covering strip (25), this strip being positioned parallel to the wall of the frame and at least in front of the rounded edge (6) of the leaf B in order to prevent any access into the external gap between leaf B and frame A, while each of the hinge plates comprises, firstly, a male element (2) fitting into a housing (7) in the leaf, so as to be aligned therewith, and, secondly, a female element (3) composed of: a cylindrical hinge body (3a) fitting into the male element (2) so as to come into alignment with the rounded part (6); and a fastening base (3b) fitting into a housing (20) recessed into the inclined surface (21) of the frame so as to come into alignment with this surface. |
