When base station equipment and mobile station devices communicate using wideband system bandwidth constituted by a carrier element and/or carrier element group, efficient HARQ processing is performed that flexibly employs the carrier element and/or carrier element group. The base station equipment and mobile station devices constitute a mobile communication system in which communication is performed by collecting a plurality of carrier elements; the base station equipment sends downlink transport blocks to the mobile devices by respective downlink carrier elements; the mobile station devices transmit information indicating ACK/NACK of HARQ with respect to a downlink transport block in bundled or multiplexed fashion to the base station equipment on each uplink carrier element corresponding to the plurality of downlink carrier elements.
