<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a highly-reliable photoelectric conversion device for maintaining airtightness for a long period. <P>SOLUTION: The photoelectric conversion device includes a base body 20 having a storage section and having a hole 8 for communicating between the storage section and the outside, a photoelectric conversion body 21 housed in the storage section, a hole blocking member 9 for blocking the hole 8, and a protection member 10 connected with the base body 20 so as to cover the hole blocking member 9.
