PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement restriction member for an interior material capable of mounting the interior material by restricting movement relative to a vehicle body even if boring for a clip on the vehicle body is difficult and reducing the man-hour of assembling of the interior material. SOLUTION: The movement restriction member for the interior material is provided with a mounting part 3a mounted to a terminal end part of a carpet 2 laid on a floor surface of the vehicle; and a restriction part 3b continued to the mounting part and restricting movement of the interior material by abutting on a part of the interior material when a part of the interior material (quarter trim 5) of the vehicle is moved. The mounting part is preferably mounted to the terminal end part of the carpet such that the movement restriction member 3 is positioned near a recession part (cup holder 6) provided on the interior material.
