PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper foil which is excellent in flexibility and secures strength, and to provide a flexible copper clad laminated sheet using the copper foil. SOLUTION: In the copper foil, tensile strength is≥400 MPa, also, the X-ray diffraction intensity ratio of the (200) face, I/I0(200) is≤15, also, the half-value width of the (200) peak by X-ray diffraction measurement is≤0.15, and also, the X-ray diffraction intensity ratio of the (200) face when it is subjected to heat treatment of increasing temperature to 300°C at a temperature rising rate exceeding 50°C/s and performing holding for 5 s, I/I0(200) is≥40.
