<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress coarse and dense dots by dispersing the dots deposited on a deposition target medium as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid ejection device can select a first mode or a second mode. In the first mode, a first ejection pulse P1 and a second ejection pulse P2 which are separated at a first time interval d1 are selected among ejection pulses P1 to P3 in an identical generation cycle, and a piezoelectric element is driven so as to form two dots (unit dots) on a deposition target medium. In the second mode, the first ejection pulse P1 and a third ejection pulse P3 which are separated at a second time interval d2 longer than the first time interval are selected among the ejection pulses P1 to P3 in the identical generation cycle, and the piezoelectric element is driven so as to form two dots on the deposition target medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
