<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement turbine improved in performance, and increased in flow rate, by restraining separation from an outer peripheral surface of an involute section wall in an inlet part of an outside scroll. <P>SOLUTION: This variable displacement turbine 1 is provided with: a turbine housing 3 forming a spiral scroll 2 inside; a turbine wheel 4 rotatably arranged on the inner peripheral side of the scroll 2; the involute section wall 7 installed in the turbine housing 3 and dividing the scroll 2 into an inside scroll 5 and the outside scroll 6; and a flow regulating valve 12 for opening-closing an introducing port 14 formed on the inlet end of the outside scroll 6.
