<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assisting tool for a wheelchair, which allows a user to keep sitting comfortably on the wheelchair for a fixed time by supporting his/her pelvises or backside thighs and also preventing his/her ischial bones from being deviated forward on a seat surface, so as to allow him/her fall from the wheelchair when a non-robust person sits on the wheelchair. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The assisting tool for the wheelchair includes: juxtaposed right and left side frames 2; slide rods 3 with fittings, attached to the rear parts of the respective side frames 2; a pelvis support 4 arranged between the upper rear parts of the right and left side frames 2; a thigh support slidably arranged between the right and left side frames 2; an auxiliary seat surface 6 attached onto the thigh support and a part between the right and left side frames 2; and lock pieces 7 attached to the rear ends of the respective side frames 2.
