<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that incorrect correspondence affects the combination of other corresponding points and the precision of calculated similarity is also lowered because the incorrect correspondence is performed in many cases when the correspondence of feature points of an image group is determined. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This image processing device extracts multiple feature points and a partial feature amount of each feature point from the image group having an original image and a reduced image obtained by reducing the original image compares a first image that a first image group has with a second image that a second image group has to determine the relationship of the first image and the second image in which sizes of the objects of the first image and the objects of the second image become close to each other, and calculates the similarity of the first image group and the second image group based on the associated feature points by making each feature point of the first image group associated with each feature point of the second image group based on the determined relationship and the similarity of each partial feature amount.
