<p>The distance-measuring laser scanner (10) comprises a laser light source for sending a light signal (12), a light receiving element for receiving a received signal (18), and an evaluation unit that is trained for the determination of distances from the operating time of the light signal. An amplifier is provided, which is controlled corresponding to the amplitude information of the received signal.
