The fastening element (10) for the fastening of a component on a supporting wall lies on both sides of the supporting wall when in the locked state inside a hole in the wall, whereby a stop element (20) lies against the supporting wall on the side facing the component to be fastened, and lies by a snap element (30) on the side of the supporting wall facing away from the component. An unlocking element (250) is connected to the snap element and is accessible from the outside, and enables an unlocking of the snap element and a withdrawal of the fastening element from the hole. An independent claim is included for an assembly consisting of a fastening element and an airbag or airbag module fastened by the fastening element on or in a vehicle. |
