PURPOSE: To provide an electrostatic printing device capable of transferring a high-quality toner image on both sides of a material to be printed, securing stability in the adhesion of the toner image to the material to be printed and performing double-sided printing in one process by bothe sided simultaneous fixing or the like. CONSTITUTION: 1st image forming means 1a, 2a, 3a, 5a and 6 are provided on an upstream side in the carrying direction of the material to be printed 10, and 2nd image forming means 1b, 2b, 3b, 5b and 17 are provided on a downstream side in the carrying direction. A 1st transfer device 8 which does not impart charge to the back surface of the material 10 not opposed to the 1st image forming means is set at a position opposed to the 1st image forming means through a carrying path. A 2nd transfer device 20 which does not come into contact with the 1st toner image 7 formed on the material 10 by the 1st image forming means is set at a position opposed to the 2nd image forming means through the carrying path. The 1st and the 2nd toner images 7 and 19 having different electrification polarity from each other are transferred on both sides of the material 10 by the 1st and the 2nd image forming means and the 1st and the 2nd transfer devices 8 and 20. |
