PURPOSE: A driving method of an organic electroluminescent display device is provided to prevent color deviations by maintaining the characteristics of every color in implementing various dimming modes. CONSTITUTION: In a driving method of an organic electroluminescent display device, a plurality of N bit digital data are provided(st1). A plurality of N bit digital data is image data for one frame. A plurality of primitive-subfields are generated by setting a display time in a plurality of digital data (st2). A plurality of primitive-subfields are transformed into a plurality of DTU- subfields (st3). The location of the display time unit[DTU]over plurality of DTU- subfield is rearranged (st4). The display time unit is controlled according to a dimming mode. The organic electro luminescence device is driven according to a plurality of DTU- subfields (st5).
