PURPOSE: An opening and closing angle control device and a control method of a door checker for a vehicle are provided to prevent a user from being hurt by controlling the opening and closing angle of a door. CONSTITUTION: An opening and shutting angle control apparatus of a door checker comprise a sensor(10), a door opening and shutting angle control member(200), and a controller(300). A sensor comprises a starting detection sensor(150), a noise vibration detection sensor(110), a speed perception sensor(120), an ultrasonic sensor(130), and a tilt sensor(140). The starting detection sensor senses whether the starting of the vehicles is turned on or not, and the noise vibration detection sensor senses whether other vehicles are parking near or not. The ultrasonic sensor senses the presence of the external obstacle within the maximum open range of door. The tilt sensor senses the direction and the angle about the tilt of the vehicle.
