PURPOSE: A spindle motor is provided to firmly support a disk by supporting an arm on the upper side of a rotor yoke. CONSTITUTION: A spindle motor comprises a rotary shaft(140), a rotor yoke(161) and a clamping device(200). The rotor yoke is rotated with the rotary shaft. A disk(50) is mounted on one side of the rotor yoke. The clamping device faces one side of the rotor yoke. The clamping device is rotated with the rotor yoke. The clamping device supports the disk. The clamping device includes a case, a plurality of arms, and an elastic material. The arm is in contact with the rotor yoke. The elastic unit elastically supports the arm on the side of the case.
