<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function of minimizing the time required for inspecting each glass container by supplying the glass container with a rotation torque large enough to quickly accelerate the glass container in spite of a compact size. <P>SOLUTION: In the apparatus and method, a compact modular apparatus is used. The modular apparatus includes a driving device for automatically accelerating the container up to the maximum rotating speed while only the contact force of an amount required for rotating the container is applied to the container. The device for rotating the glass container has a remarkable function to quickly moving to the contact state with the glass container with the apparatus and to accelerate the glass container up to the maximum rotating speed without damaging the glass container, and also gives a low-level impact to the glass container. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
