<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording system which can shift a printer side to an energy saving mode if a host computer is in operation other than printing operation. <P>SOLUTION: In the recording system, the host computer and an inkjet recording device are connected through a USB interface. The recording system includes the inkjet recording system which transmits an effect that the host compute can be shifted to a suspending state when the recording operation is not performed while the processing is not performed in the inkjet recording device, and the host computer which brings only a port to which the recording device is connected into a suspending state when having received the transmission reading the shift of the inkjet recording device to the suspending state while processing which should be performed by the inkjet recording device does not exist in the host computer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
