<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external spring type probe that has a low profile and high assemblability. <P>SOLUTION: (a) In a columnar stepped plunger (8) made of a conductive material, one end thereof has a plunger tip end (1), formed so as to be brought into contact with another one. Under the portion, a plunger fixing portion (2) and a plunger contact portion (3) that is brought into contact with a counterpart on an external face of the tip end of a single or multi-divided columnar shape are provided. (b) One end of a barrel (9), made of a conductive material, is formed into such a shape as to be brought into contact with another one, and under the portion, a barrel fixing portion (6) and a barrel contact portion (5), formed to be brought into contact with the plunger contact portion (3) on an internal surface. (c) Inside both the ends of an external spring (4) made of a material that is advantageous in mechanical strength, the plunger fixing portion (2) and the barrel fixing portion (6) are fixed, and a plunger (8), the barrel (9) and the external spring (4) are connected to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
