LIGHT SOURCE UNIT AND LUMINAIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source unit, capable of promoting uniform heating of a substrate mounted with a plurality of light emitting elements, and a luminaire using the light source unit.

SOLUTION: The light source unit includes a substrate 4 having a plurality of light emitting elements mounted in a center portion and a circumferential part thereof, and heat release means 6 corresponding respectively to the plurality of light emitting elements. The heat release effect by the heat release means corresponding to the light emitting elements mounted in the center portion is set larger than the heat release means corresponding to the light emitting elements mounted in the circumferential portion.
