PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection mechanism of an optical fiber line reducing the constraints on the distance of the optical fiber line, and detecting the reference point of the optical fiber line without incidence of a wavelength different from a signal wavelength onto the optical fiber line. SOLUTION: The reflection mechanism of the optical fiber line includes a reflection means for reflecting a predetermined wavelength. The reflection means is an end face of an MT type connector of optical fiber cascade connections or an end face of an SC type connector. The polished surface of the end face of the reflection means is coarser than the polished surface of the end face of the MT type connector or the end face of the SC type connector of the optical fiber cascade connections, which is not the reflection means.
