<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double stator motor wherein a portion of a rotor between an outer stator and an inner stator can be made thin, which allows for a large area for a coil, and the number of permanent magnets can be reduced and no special processing is required for the shape of the permanent magnets and leakage flux of permanent magnets located in the rotor can be suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: In an in-wheel motor, a rotor 28 includes a rotor core 60 made by stacking a plurality of electromagnetic steel plates and a rotor base 56 for connecting and supporting the rotor core 60 to a hub shaft. The rotor core 60 has permanent magnets 62 inserted in a plurality of insertion holes 66 formed at equal angles in the peripheral direction. Clips 64 made of a non-magnetic material are provided on narrow-width portions 68 between the insertion holes 66 to clip and bind together the plurality of electromagnetic steel plates that constitute the rotor core 60 and connect them to the rotor base 56. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
