<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take safety measures for system operations and to reduce an economic burden on system operators of a gas station system wherein a plurality of gas stations are connected by a network. <P>SOLUTION: In the gas station system 1, a plurality of gas stations 2a to 2d allowing the use of a prepaid card 6 for fueling are connected to a central management server 3, to manage the plurality of gas stations 2a to 2d by the central management server 3. The central management server 3 includes a network-connected balance management server 4. The balance management server 4 includes: a balance information storing unit which stores the balance of the prepaid card 6 available at the plurality of gas stations 2a to 2d; a balance updating unit for updating the stored balance stored in the balance information storing unit according to an amount paid for fueling by the card 6 at gas station 2a to 2d; and a communication control unit which transmits the balance stored in the balance information storing unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
