SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING NETWORK HOUSEHOLD ELECTRIC APPLIANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for controlling a network household electric appliance smoothly changing the setting of a gateway from an administrator site without imposing a load on a user when the setting of the gateway must be changed.

SOLUTION: This system for controlling the network household electric appliance includes: a gateway 1 for controlling a network household electric apparatus 2 in a house 100 through a home network 4; the network household electric apparatus 2 controlled by the gateway; and a household electric appliance control server 5 having identification information of the gateway, that of the network household electric apparatus and that of a user. In the system, the household electric appliance control server reads gateway setting information from a gateway setting state information database DB3 to be transmitted to the gateway, and the gateway 1 registers the content of the gateway setting state information in its own unit when receiving the gateway setting state information from the household electric appliance control server.
