A coxofemoral orthesis for correction of pathologic hip dislocation comprises an adjustable coxofemoral orthesis, two adjustable loincloth cuffs and two rods, each of them is connected by its one end to the coxofemoral orthesis using first device for rod fixing and by the other end to a corresponding adjustable loincloth cuff using second device for rod fixing. The first device comprises a support plate secured on the coxofemoral orthesis, a base is fixed thereto, the base having at each of two opposite sides a rod fixing unit which comprises a flange, a removable cover rigidly fixed to the flange and a spherical hinge which is rigidly fixed in recesses between the flange and the removable cover. One end of the corresponding rod is secured in the hinge adapted for free rotation. Each second device is fixed on corresponding adjustable loincloth cuff adapted for rotation in sagittal plane. The inventive result is aimed at hip abduction both in a static position (sitting, standing) and during movement. |
