<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for vending a discount commuter ticket that promote using of an automatic commuter ticket vending machine in vending a student commuter ticket, suppress the business of station wicket operation especially for a new term of a school, and extremely reduce the burden of a station clerk. <P>SOLUTION: Certificate data corresponding to the student certificate is previously registered in a certificate management server 13 that is installed in a head office of a railroad enterpriser and connected to an Internet circuit 11 based on a student certificate issuing request from a user (a student) using a personal computer 16 that is installed in the school and connected to the Internet circuit 11. When the student certificate is sold with the automatic commuter ticket vending machine 15 connected to the certificate management server 13 via a communication line 14, the certificate data is retrieved from the certificate management server 13 based on a card ID number obtained from the user, and the student commuter ticket based on the retrieved certificate data is issued. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
