<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system detecting and controlling with high accuracy a volume of liquid component, especially, a liquid volume at a given position, collected in a separating part. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is provided with a fuel cell stack, a first supply part supplying fuel, a second supply part supplying gas, and a separating part 10 equipped with a tank 30 retaining liquid 38 separated from gas-liquid mixture fluid consisting of gas and a reaction product generated at an anode electrode and a cathode electrode. At least a first detecting part 33 and a second detecting part 34 are provided at opposed side faces of the tank 30, and at the same time, a liquid volume detecting part 36 consisting of a pair of detection electrodes 36A, 36B are structured for detecting a volume of the liquid 38 in an area including the first detecting part 33 and the second detecting part 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
