<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoking filter which can enhance a performance for removing undesired particle phase ingredients such as nicotine in cigarette smoke and can milden a smoking taste. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The smoking filter is characterized by having a filtering material 2 having a nicotine-filtering rate of ≤99% at the normal temperature, a heating means 3 for heating the filtering material 2, a dilution air-introducing port 6, and a non-heating cigarette filter 5, in a paper pipe 1, wherein a cigarette 10 is inserted into the cigarette filter 5, and the cigarette filter 5 can be used as a suction opening.
