Dispersion of polymer particles in a liquid carbon medium, is claimed, where the particles have a rigid polymeric core, and the surface being stabilized by a polymeric stabilizer sequence comprising at least one sequence soluble in the carbon medium and at least one sequence insoluble in the carbon medium. An independent claim is included for a cosmetic composition comprising the dispersion in an aqueous medium.
