<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card reader and IC card reading method in a versatile manner and for efficiently applying automatic changing processing of the IC card communication method for shortening the processing time, increasing the processing speed, and simultaneously improving the processing accuracy to a non-contact IC card and a contact IC card. <P>SOLUTION: In the IC card reader including at least an image reading section and a control section, the control section reads image data of the IC card and changes the IC card communication method based on the read image data by controlling the image reading section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
