#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves inserting a replacement valve into a hydrant in an opened condition by a sewer port and a socket, and moving the replacement valve to a closed condition, where a water supply is closed in the closed condition. The replacement valve is moved to the opened condition and removed from the hydrant by the sewer port and the socket when water pressure is applied at the hydrant. A valve bar (115) with a spindle (113), a main valve (116) and a spindle ball bearing (112) are inserted into the hydrant by the sewer port and the socket when the pressure is applied at the hydrant. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a closing device comprising an expansion ring positioned at a valve seat. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Method for performing inspecting and/or adapting operations at a hydrant i.e. pillar hydrant, that is utilized for supplying water to household and industrial areas.
