摘要 <p>A frame rate converting device of a display acquires a motion of each input frame (F) as an input video detection vector (V). The interpolation distance proportion is calculated by dividing the interval between the output synchronous timing of a predetermined output frame and the input synchronous timing of a predetermined input frame (F) by the interval between the output synchronous timings. An input vide use vector (J) is determined by multiplying the interpolation distance proportion and the input video detection vector (V), and a first interpolation frame (G) involving an amount of motion based on the input video use vector (J) is generated. A second interpolation frame (M) in which the color of the pixel in a position is determined by mixing the colors of the pixels in the corresponding positions in an input frame (Fa) and an input frame (F(a+1)) at a proportion corresponding to the reference plane weighted average weight and at a proportion corresponding to the object plane weighted average weight is generated. If the accuracy of acquisition of the input video detection vector (V) is high, the first interpolation frame (G) is outputted; and if low, the second interpolation frame (M) is outputted.</p>
