PURPOSE: A plasma display panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent noise when being connected with other substrate by arranging a chamfered part of a base substrate in an opposite side of a contact part between a terminal of a discharge electrode and a signal transmission part. CONSTITUTION: A base substrate(600) is chamfered to a plurality of unit boards. A plurality of discharge electrodes and dielectric layers(603,604) are formed on each unit board. A dielectric layer fills a plurality of discharge electrodes. A partition wall is formed on the dielectric layer. The partition wall comprises a main barrier and dummy partition walls(609,610,611,612). The partition wall is patterned. The border of the unit board is chamfered. The unit board is separated to each unit board. The dummy barrier wall is arranged to be contiguous to the border.
