The invention relates to a heat exchanger (1) with stacked plates, including a plurality of stacked plates (2a) between which a fluid to be cooled and the coolant flow between two independent circuits (2', 2'') defined by said plates (2a) in the form of alternating layers, said plates (2a) including a plurality of projections (3a, 3b) arranged in an area for heat exchange, and inlet (5) and outlet (6) wells for the coolant which are stamped in said plates. According to the invention, said projections (3a, 3b) define a route pattern (10a) capable of homogenously conveying the coolant over the plates (2a) while suitably reaching the corners of said plates (2a). The invention can particularly be used in the automotive industry.
