This invention relates to a packaging kit comprising a sealed oxygen impermeable container comprising a statin and at least one stabilizer selected from the group consisting of an oxygen absorber, a moisture absorber or a combination thereof. It further relates to a packaging kit for a solid pharmaceutical composition of a statin comprising the composition and at least one stabilizer selected from the group consisting of an oxygen absorber, a moisture absorber or a combination thereof in an oxygen impermeable container.
