<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alumina cement composition which can keep the flowability for a longer period of time and can exhibit higher strength in the construction of it under a high temperature atmosphere of 30°C or higher compared with a conventional alumina cement composition. <P>SOLUTION: The alumina cement composition is characterized in that it comprises an alumina cement containing CaO-Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, CaO-2Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 12CaO-7Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and an amorphous, and as additives alumina, a carboxylic acid and/or its salt, a carbonate and a polyacrylic acid and/or its salt, wherein it is characterized in that the chemical components of the alumina cement are 22-32 mass% of CaO and 68-78 mass% of Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, and in that 30-50 pts.mass of alumina is contained against 70-50 pts.mass of the alumina cement.
