The method involves producing a plastic form stable carrier part, in a rear-injection process. The carrier part is connected with a deformed section of a flat decoration material. The carrier part exhibits a decorative upper surface, which forms one of areas (4) in a decorative surface. The carrier part is provided with a recess. A groove is provided in the carrier part along adjacent boundary edges. A section of other decoration material is arranged or fixed in the recess of the carrier part, during a laminating process, where the section of other material is made of synthetic leather. An independent claim is also included for an inner lining part manufactured using the method.
