There is provided a bottom-closed cylindrical container comprising a barrel wall (2), a bottom wall (3), and an annular leg (4) perpendicular to the bottom wall, the container being obtained by thermally forming a resin sheet, the container being characterized in that the leg (4) is formed as a leg consisting of an inner wall (7b) and an outer wall (7a) by folding back the inner wall (7b) by pressure fluid and welding it to the outer wall (7a). There is also provided a bottom-closed cylindrical container comprising a barrel wall (31) with its lower end terminating in a ground-engaging end (33), and a bottom wall (32), the container being obtained by thermally forming a resin sheet, the container being characterized in that the bottom wall (32) continues to the upper end (35) of the inner wall (34), and the inner wall (34) is formed by folding back the barrel wall (31) along the ground-engaging end (33) and welding it to the inner periphery of the barrel wall (31). Further, there are provided a device and a method for thermally forming such container. |
