PURPOSE: An optical waveguide device is provided to miniaturize the size of a product having an optical waveguide by implementing the optical waveguide with a minimum area. CONSTITUTION: A core(20) is formed on a substrate. The core is comprised of a main light route(21) and a division light route(22). A cladding(30) is formed on the substrate. The cladding has a lower refractive index than core. The cladding protects the outside at both sides of the core. A splitter(40) is arranged on a main light route in a branch position of the division light route. The splitter has a refraction index difference from the core. The division light route is formed according to an extension direction of the main light route.
