METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DECODE HYBRID STBC SIGNALS

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for decode hybrid STBC signals are provided to demodulation performance of MIMO OFDM system by reducing the deterioration of performance in an SM signal interference effect at a conventional hybrid-STBC modulation mode. CONSTITUTION: A channel estimation process is performed by receiving a hybrid STBC signal(100). An STBC signal is detected from the received hybrid STBC signal(110). The SM signal is detected by eliminating a detected STBC signal from the received hybrid STBC signal(120). The STBC signal is repeatedly detected by eliminating the detected SM signal from the received hybrid STBC signal(130). The STBC signal is determined as a final STBC signal(140).
