METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SETTING BANDWIDTH BY USING MOVING AVERAGE OF DATA TRANSFER RATE

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for setting a bandwidth by using the moving average of a data transfer rate are provided to reflect various and complicated communication state. CONSTITUTION: A movement average calculating unit(500) calculates the movement average of a data transmission rate, and a comparison unit(510) compares the calculated movement average value with the predetermined value. The predetermined value is a current data transmission rate. A control unit(520) generates a control signal to set up a bandwidth at which next data are transmitted according to the comparison results in the comparison unit.
