PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcapsule capable of stably retaining a valuable and volatile substance such as fragrance for an extended period. SOLUTION: The microcapsule encapsulates a mixture comprising a volatile substance, and an additive which is a compound selected from alcohol, carboxylic acid, hydroxy acid and paraffin, has a melting point higher than the volatile substance, and is able to undergo mutual dissolution with the volatile substance. The emulsion of the mixture comprising 100 parts weight volatile substance and 10-200 parts weight additive is prepared. After adding a membrane material to the prepared emulsion, polymerization is performed to the resulting emulsion, and the microcapsule is formed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
