<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing paper, by which a wooden raw material can be reduced, and the paper having a color giving a high quality feeling can be produced, even when palm balls are used as a raw material. Ž<P>SOLUTION: There is provided the method for producing the paper having an oil palm ball pulp production process (S11) for collecting fruits from the seeds of oil palm and then pulping the left oil palm balls to produce the oil palm ball pulp, a wooden pulp production process (S12) for pulping wood pieces and/or waste paper to produce the wood pulp, a mixing process (S13) for mixing the oil palm ball pulp produced in the oil palm ball pulp production process with the wood pulp produced in the wood pulp production process to produce the mixed pulp, and a paper production process (S14) for processing the mixed pulp produced in the mixing process to produce the paper.
