<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot toy capable of being compactly constituted by a simple structure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A control board 251 is erected and located inside a toy body 2 so that the main surface faces the front of the toy body 2. The inside space 27 of the toy body 2 is partitioned into an upper space 273, a middle space 274 and a lower space 275 on the main surface side of the control board 251. In the lower space 275, right and left leg sections 24 and 24 having coils 244 are placed. In the upper space 273 and the middle space 274, an infrared receiver 211 and a battery 221 are placed.
