<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weir wall for stopping the movement of rocks enabling less quantity of articles to be carried to site and requiring no special operation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing a weir wall is used for forming a weir wall for stopping the movement of rocks, at a predetermined position, on an installation surface on the surface of which rocks are present. The method includes a sampling step of sampling the rocks present on the installation surface and a wall formation step of forming the weir wall by adhering the rocks sampled in the sampling step with an adhesive component for adhering the rocks and stacking the sampled rocks. The weir wall for stopping the movement of the rocks includes the rocks of the same type of those present on the installation surface on which the weir wall is formed and the adhesive component for adhering the rocks.
