<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a control valve preventing the sticking of the control valve due to deposit of sludge. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A CPU of ECU determines that a first control valve is in a close state (Yes in step S12) when it determines that an engine is not in a warming-up operation state (No in step S11), and opens the first control valve (step S16) when it determines the close state of the first control valve continues for predetermined fixed time (Yes in step S15). On the other hand, the CPU closes the first control valve (step S14) when it determines that the first control valve is not in the close state (No in step S12) and that the open state of the first control valve continues for the predetermined fixed time (Yes in step S13), and opens the first control valve (step S16) when it determines that the close state of the first control valve continues for predetermined fixed time (Yes in step S15) from valve close time.
