摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter device of an SR motor to obtain torque even in high-speed rotation. <P>SOLUTION: A control device of an SR motor selectively energizes multiple coils, provided in an SR motor 2, one ends of which are star-connected. In the control device, an inverter circuit 4 includes multiple half bridges each composed of two switching elements connected in series. The half bridges are connected in correspondence with the neutral point of the star connection and the other ends of the coils. An inverter control device 5 sequentially energizes the coils based on the SR rotor position, the value of current passing through the coils, and a current command value. When coils to be energized are changed, the inverter control device once turns off the switching elements of a half bridge connected to the neutral point and turns on the switching elements of those not connected to the neutral point of the half bridges.
