<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for strengthening a concrete draining board for barn, which significantly improves durability of a concrete draining board in an environment of pigsty, etc., liable to cause corrosion and deterioration of concrete, and facilitates its maintenance and control. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for strengthening a concrete draining board to be arranged on a pit 2 for excreta removal laid under the floor of a barn 1, includes coating the lower side of the concrete draining board 3 with an alkali silicate solution, permeating the alkali silicate solution into its surface layer and, in the passage of fixed time, forming a water-impermeable concrete modified layer 12 on the surface layer on the lower side of the concrete draining board 3.
