The lapping tool (1) has a carrier material and a lapping unit, where the lapping unit is a lapping paste or high viscous oil as carrier medium. The carrier material is a polymer provided with pores (4'), in which the lapping unit is incorporated dynamically. The abrasive grains are inserted in the pores of the polymer in free moving manner and have a process controlled dynamic resizing. The polymer is an epoxy resin or polyurethane foam. The abrasive grains are made of aluminum oxide abrasive, particularly sintered aluminum oxide abrasive, or silicon carbide. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a lapping device with a dosing unit; and (2) a method for lapping a surface using lapping tool.
