PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which can readily recognize a focused subject, even with a view finder, a display, or the like, of low resolution. SOLUTION: The subject is extracted, according to distance based on distance information of the subject. Focal information is calculated, based on the focal distance obtained from the position of a focusing lens and a diaphragm value of diaphragm. The image of the subject is displayed on a display screen 10. A subject distance graph where focal information is added to a subject position mark, indicating the position of the subject is displayed on a graph using the distance as the axis.
